Last trip

Everything started on a cold but bright morning. In the morning, we headed to the Mastara Saint Hovhannes Church, an ancient and majestic structure standing in the middle of a vast field.
In Gyumri, our first stop was the Frunzik Mkrtchyan House-Museum, where the exhibits reflected the great actor’s joyful and sorrowful moments, his unique humor, and deep love for art. Then, we visited the Saint Seven Wounds Church, one of Gyumri’s symbols. Its mighty domes rise toward the sky, symbolizing the power of faith and rebirth.
On the second day, we started at the Dzitoghtsyan Museum, where we explored the rich history of Shirak, from ancient stone tools to national costumes and cultural heritage.
On the last day, we visited the ruins of the Yereruyk Temple, proudly standing in the vast fields of nature, reminding us of the glory of the past.
This three-day journey revealed the cultural and spiritual wealth of Gyumri and the Shirak region, leaving behind unforgettable memories.
